The 9am service is usually a more traditional style of worship, with good teaching, preaching & music. It is our biggest & main service of worship. We are always looking for ways to make our worship more accessible & meaningful, especially for those special times in the Christian calendar.
Music is an important part of our 9am worship service. The congregation includes some exceptional organists and other musicians. Whilst the organ and the piano provide most of the accompaniment, the members have brought assorted musical skills to worship at times, including guitars, violin, recorder, trombone and flute. Of course, everyone brings their voices, and the Bowral congregation loves to sing. We have a choir that participates in our worship time on a regular basis and particularly at Christmas and Easter.
Kids Church takes place on the 1st and 3rd weeks of the month. The children begin their time with their families and then break off into Kids Church during the service.
Kids are always welcome in worship at Bowral Uniting.
